Last night, our first baby Mora went to be with the stars. She was the most elegant and dignified poopster one could imagine. Her coat was so slick and so black, her nails so long and luxurious. She turned heads with her super model physique. This high spirited being we had the honor of calling our first fur baby was immaculate with a tennis ball. I would literally cry on a regular basis because I was so proud of the way she handled a game of fetch in frothy shorebreaks, She would charge into massive surf with no fear and gracefully navigate the waters in search of said tennis ball. One day, in front of a crowd of people, she just started digging furiously into the sand (randomly we thought) and moments later she came up with an old tennis ball, lost and washed away many moons ago. Our sweet black angel was a water dog through and through and spent the peak of her life swimming for hours each day in the mighty Pacific. She loved to fish in the lagoon and tide pools. One of her passions, which she continued to pursue even in her last week of life, was crab hunting... vicious. Mora has been sick now though for almost a year. The struggle was real. She struggles no more. We love you Mora forever and know you are shining down upon us.
